While every lab's applications are different, Organomation offers acid resistant coated versions of it's N-EVAPs and MULTIVAPs for use with highly corrosive solvents. All parts which may come in contact with the solvent are Teflon coated. Each instrument comes with Teflon coated needles and acid resistant parts, such as luers and washers and three part tube fitting for the N-EVAP product line. Acid resistant coating is recommended for use with solvents such as hydrochloric acid, diethyl ether, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, and benzene. Organomation's popular non acid resistant coated instruments can withstand most organic solvents, such as acetone, methanol, methylene chloride, and many more. This system is able to raise the samples out of the water bath, without user interaction, once the timed evaporation is complete.
